Red, one of my favorite hues to use in artwork! There are so many shades, and I paticularly love it when it takes on the color of a merlot or a deep red rose. Perhaps it’s because it harkens back to those images, and the feelings associated with them, when it does. Amazing how colors can fish for memories in that way.
